Meet Our Pastors Rev. Armando Olmedo Executive Pastor Armando Olmedo, a Panama native, arrived in the United States guided by divine timing and purpose. Since encountering God, Pastor Armando has epitomized a bible-centered, spirit-empowered leadership style. Over his remarkable 50+ years of service to God and the church, Pastor Armando's passion has been to equip believers into discipleship with unwavering faith grounded in sound doctrine, preparing them to withstand the challenges of the world. His deep commitment to community shines through his 23-year tenure as a Chaplain for the Sheriff and firefighter departments, where he has exemplified God's compassion. As a hospital Chaplain, he has brought solace and healing through prayer and counseling, witnessing firsthand the transformative power of God's grace in the lives of the sick and distressed. Pastor Armando eagerly awaits a sweeping revival that will shake society to its core, believing steadfastly in God's ability to bring about transformation on a grand scale. His life and ministry stand as a testament to faithfulness, service, and a steadfast belief in the power of God to bring about lasting change in the souls. Rev. Deanna Olmedo Pastor Deanna Olmedo, a native of San Bernardino, California, embodies a life shaped by profound challenges and unwavering faith. Through baptism, believers become part of the family of God and begin a new walk with Him. —Mark 16:16; Galatians 3:27–28 Holy Communion We consider Jesus Christ's command to his disciples in Matthew 26:26-28, as an expression of our intimate relationship and commitment to God. Dedication of Children The presentation of children to the Lord is a special occasion on which parents affirm their commitment to Christian standards of parenting: a lifelong commitment to guide and lead children toward a life dedicated to God. - Luke 2:21-22 Marriage Our church honors the sacrament of marriage as the sacred union between a man and a woman, blessed by God. According to what Jesus said we support and guide couples on their journey toward this lifelong covenant of love and fidelity. - Matthew 19:5 Speaking in Tongues According to Acts 2:2-4, speaking in tongues was the sign that the Holy Spirit had come upon the believers, fulfilling Jesus' promise in Acts 1:8-that we would receive power when the Holy Spirit came upon us. Ministering to the Sick We believe in anointing the sick to bring comfort, strength, and healing to those facing illness or suffering. We follow Christ's example by laying hands on the sick in faith, as well as freeing them from spiritual oppression in the liberating name of Jesus Christ. - James 5:14-15
